The kawasaki Ninja Zx14R was first launched in india in 2013. It was a direct rival to Suzuki Hayabusa which was launched in 1999, But the ninja zx14r offered relatively more comfort, ranks amongst fastest production motorcycle ever offered to the public with the restricted top speed of 297 kmph and had a powerful acceleration that pushes the bike to its top speed. The Kawasaki Ninja zx14r was Kawasaki’s answer to Suzuki Hayabusa. The motorcycle offered a well cushioned seats, comfortable riding position that makes it good for high speed cruising as well as long distance trips. The 14R packs a detailed instrument console and offers bunch of modern features to beat hayabusa in terms of specifications and features.

Kawasaki Ninja’s Heart 1440 cc Engine
The Kawasaki Ninja zx14r features a 1440 cc inline four cylinder four stroke Dual Overhead Cam-Shaft (DOHC) Engine, that churns out 198 bhp at 10,000 rpm and 158.2 nm torque at 7,500 rpm. Since it was a rival to Suzuki Hayabusa , Kawasaki Ninja zx14r has same design language as Suzuki Hayabusa. But Kawsaki’s 14r offered great engine specifications and features for the price. The bike proves itself to be one of the fastest bikes in the world. It reaches the speed of 100km/hr from standstill in just 3 seconds while it takes only 7.5 seconds to reach 0-200km/hr. The bike is available with two riding modes which supplies the power of this engine in different manners. The bike comes with a limited top speed of 299km/hr. The anti-slipper clutch also adjusts itself accordingly and gives positive feedback to the rider. The low and mid-range of this bike makes it a true performer. The lightning fast throttle reaction gives wings to this bike and it easily crosses everything on road. It feels best around 8000rpm when it’s performing at its best. It’s a very refined DOHC engine which makes pleasant sound at high rpms and prompts you to rev it hard. The gearbox works effortlessly and gives you smooth gear transitions.
